To analyze and evaluate health of assigned project(s) with respect to budget and schedule keeping an eye on efficiency and cost trends during entire project life span starting from pre-mobilization stage through final closeout stage by exercising strong analytical skills and raise flag to Manager Project Audits & Analysis.
Support in Pre-mobilization Phase of Project:
Ensure smooth launching of the project with respect to Project Monitoring System (PMS) processes at pre-mobilization stage, as laid down in the Planning and Execution manual. Provide support and guidance to the project team to ensure successful launch.
Original and Latest Forecast Plans on P3:
Coordinate with the project team to finalize WBS for preparation of Level-III plan and ensures its compatibility with Process software.
Analyze reports generated from Descon Progress Monitoring Systems (DPMS) on weekly and monthly basis to monitor progress and efficiency against baseline.
Project Cost Monitoring
Performs Systems audit to ensure effective implementation as well as understanding new requirements for the improvement of the systems.
Remains updated and conducts training programs for different levels of users of company’s systems in Bid Estimation, Project Planning, Monitoring, Execution, Materials Management and Procurement.
Knowledge Base e-Library:
Provides inputs to Data Control Engineer to maintain knowledge base e-Library for the company, serving as archives for essential documents data and presentations etc. useful for developing knowledge base with reference to various processes of project management.
Obtains useful technical information generated at various projects and Divisions and hands over to Data Control Engineer for archiving in Digital Library (DLX). This information may include, but not limited to, Standard Operating Procedures, Method Statements, Project Plans (Mobilization plan, Level-III plan etc.), Rigging Studies and Video Films, lessons learned etc.
The position is very important to ensure implementation of Company’s standard policies and procedures as laid down in Planning & Execution Manual.
Ensures effective utilization of PMS systems for financial advantage.
The incumbent Works on general instructions of the Manager Project Audits & Analysis
and Chief Corporate Risk & Compliance.
Works as a corporate PMS Representative to collect and report information on project health and project management systems.
Closely works with Systems Engineers for continuous improvement of the systems.
