The Head HR at Descon will be involved in promoting and implementing human resource values, by planning and managing human resource programs, as well as directing staff.
The position entails developing organization strategies, by identifying and researching HR issues, suggesting recommendations and establishing the divisions HR objectives in line with the organizational goals.
The Head HR will also be responsible for the smooth and profitable operation of the division’s human resource department. This entails supervising and providing consultation to management on strategic plans, compensation, benefits, training & development & budgeting. The role includes taking the leadership role in developing a culture that enables employees to performance in accordance with the organization’s objectives.
The position would be overseeing all key components of the relevant division’s HR, which include Performance & Rewards, Organization Development as well as Talent Acquisition. Part of the role would be to develop HR financial strategies by estimating, forecasting and anticipating requirements, trends and variances.
