Memosh Asghar Khawaja

Memosh Khawaja is an accomplished global business leader and corporate governance expert with over 30 years of leadership experience across Europe, the Middle East, and South Asia. He most recently served as President and CEO of the Pakistan Institute of Corporate Governance (2022–2024), where he led national initiatives to strengthen board effectiveness, sustainability reporting, and shareholder engagement. During his tenure, he developed a digital governance platform in collaboration with key regulatory institutions including the SECP, State Bank of Pakistan, Central Depository Company, and Pakistan Stock Exchange. Mr. Khawaja brings extensive board experience, having served as an Independent Director at CozCom and CCL Pharmaceuticals, and currently chairs the ESG Council at the National Incubation Center Karachi. His executive career includes serving as CEO of Haleeb Foods Limited and holding senior global leadership roles at Henkel KGaA, Germany, where he oversaw financial steering, risk management, and value creation across 45 countries. He holds an MBA from LUMS and is a certified Board Director and ESG Board Trainer
