Descon Power Solutions is committed to the highest possible standards of ethical, moral, and legal business conduct. In keeping with this commitment and the company’s interest in promoting open communication, we aim to provide a means through which the vendors and associated persons could raise concerns with the reassurance that their identity will be kept confidential and they will be protected from reprisals or victimization for whistle blowing in good faith.

Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption
Descon is a responsible Company and is fully committed to comply with all domestic and international anti-bribery, anti-corruption laws, regulations and conventions that prohibit corrupt actions including bribery in obtaining or retaining business or obtaining any other improper advantage. Corruption is against the law and contrary to everything that Descon stands for. Descon condemns the making of prohibited payments, i.e., payments to secure the performance of routine government actions by the government functionaries. At Descon we exercise zero tolerance against bribery and corruption. No bribes whether initiated by a third party, public or private will be accepted. Employees and vendors/contractors should be aware that the offering or giving of improper benefits to influence the decision of the recipient, even if he or she is not a government official, may not only entail disciplinary sanctions but also result in criminal charges.
Expected Behaviour
- Comply with all the applicable laws and regulations prohibiٖting the payment or giving anything of value, either directly or indirectly, to a government official or family member of a government official, a private individual or employees of companies that are wholly or partially owned by a government entity.
- Ensure that all interactions and transactions with government officials, or employees of companies are clearly and accurately recorded.
- Never allow joint venture or consortium partners, sub-contractors, suppliers, agents, consultants, intermediaries or others to make prohibited payments on Descon's behalf.
- Seek advice in advance from your Divisions/Corporate HR Department and/or your department head before offering any gifts, entertainment or other hospitality, meals, travel expenses or charitable donations to ensure compliance.
- Report any observed conduct that potentially violates any anti-corruption law using the Whistle blowing platform.

DEFINITIONS
Bribery
A bribe is defined as an amount of money or any favor given or promised in order to influence the judgment or conduct of a person in a position of trust. A bribe may also take the form of gifts, travel expenses, below market loans, favors and business/ employment opportunities etc.
Prohibited/ Facilitation payments
Offering or giving of improper benefits or making payments, in order to influence the decision of the recipient.
Conflict of interest
A conflict of interest may exist when an employee or a member of his or her family is involved in an activity or has a personal interest that could impair, or even appear to impair, the ability to make objective and fair decisions or could create an incentive to act in a manner that would advance personal interests at the expense of Descon.
